It was one of those days all lined up for me
Everything in order from the A to the Z
Written out on paper, the time marked plain
No room to breathe, well I near went insane
'Cause I like some idea of how it plays out
But hyper-prepped is not what I'm talking about

Give me
A little mystery
Surprise
So I can improvise

Like a roller coaster ride, life's known to thrill
But on the flip side it can just make you ill
You think it'd be easy if God hands you the script
To read in advance, you'd be able to predict
And solve more problems than it'd create
Sometimes you just gotta sit down and wait

Give me
A little mystery
Surprise
So I can improvise

There's something about changing on the fly
Anything less is a trap for pride
You believe you know it all and to humble you, boom!
Here comes a bolt from the blue in the room

I like you enoy a little mystery, but I usually fall of the boat and end up making life one big mess. I have enough mystery in the Living Word without adding any of my own. A very interesting read and well written. Thank you for sharing and God bless.

I can almost hear you singing this in my head and I'm not very musical so that's a huge compliment. I think one of God's greatest gifts to me is that I can't see the future for like the roller coaster you don't know if it would be thrills or ills.
