He looked good, but he was not vain. Actually, he considered himself average looking and of average intelligence. His tan face made for the perfect frame for his blue eyes that could both pierce the observer as well as moisten with compassion. A silver mustache jutted from his upper lip like a layer of cream from the “Got milk” campaign. A hint of stubble appeared along his jaw line, but it looked more like facial dirt than sexy facial hair attributed to certain celebrities. Kenneth wore a plain blue polo shirt that accentuated the strength of his upper body, yet did not flaunt his muscular build. Khaki trousers were neatly pressed, but the bottoms were still rolled up; exposing his bare feet following their earlier walk on the beach. Large hands, rough from his job as a firefighter, were capable of gentle caresses to her face.
As the sun began its descent into the horizon, she began to sing their favorite hymn “How Great Thou Art” His tenor voice was strong and he has often been referred to as another Andrea Bocelli. Kenneth also enjoyed “oldies “music and would break into a spontaneous dance when he heard one of his favorite tunes from that era. The couple sang their way back into the harbor. The sky was darkening as he anchored the boat onto the deck. They were tired, and ready to return home. Hand in hand, the middle-aged couple exited the marina, stopping only to purchase their favorite chocolate waffle cones.
Kenneth is a good man who loves the Lord. She also loves the Lord and she loves her man.. Her name is Barbara, and Kenneth Dahl is her husband.
