Marvelous!!
MAGNIFICENT. This could be a childs story. It is so beautifully written whereas a child could truly grasp the simplicity of Christ's birth. Thank you for sharing. God bless.

The first Christmas really was a "brown" Christmas...my favorite line was the Bread of Life being served to those hungry for His presence...thanks for skillfully recreating this majestic tale!

Great writing to remind us of the beauty of brown.. good descriptions and character developments!
Excellent! "Mary pondered these things in her heart." The second half of this piece felt like an expansion of that verse.

Great job!

Well-crafted re-telling and amplification of a story we probably know too well to appreciate its intimate wonder.

Well done.

The retelling of the birth of Jesus although scripturally inaccurate(but has told been this way for many years, the child was actually around 2 years when the gifts of myrrh and frankincense was brought by the wise men Matt 2:9-10)was at least interesting from Mary's point of view.
