Amy's right - this is an awesome story. I love this idea - capturing spring a day at a time through pictures. Very good writing.

Spellbinding! Had me pulling so hard for her. Oh, I want a nurse like that if I fall ill. I'm doing some landscaping and I know I'll add in a Magnolia.

This story was a delight because of your characters and the message of hope it conveys. Your descriptions of the Springtime beauty in your MC's yard put paintings in my mind. Great writing.

This is a great story of persevering love. We're really not all that lovable at times. Thank God for people like Sharmaine who don't give up easily.
Excellent dialogue. A pleasure to read.

“I imagine heaven must be like that; fragrant with the presence of God.”

I love that line. Magnolias are one of my favorite trees!

So beautifully written as this MC slowly opens up to life again just as the bud opens. What a delightful journey. Congratulations on your 1st place EC!

This is a touching story and filled with faith-lessons without being "preachy" at all. I'm learning why this is #1 in EC. Thanks for writing.
