touching, poignant
Very moving. Horrible that these things happen to innocent children.
This was my story....from 7th grade until 9th when I came forward and told my mom...who believed my stepfather who denied it. It took many years, but praise the Lord the Great Physician healed me from the scars left from that experience.

I am not really a fan of poetry but this one captured my attention from the first line. You told a harsh reality very well.

ahh this is good. t is told in a very childlike way that seems to be a much younger child than a 16yr old. Maybe this was deliberate. I think maybe an early teen would be more likely to "speak" like this
You made me cry, I am a product of this you write about it. Must have been how my mom felt during those times, it was even a step-dad.

Very good writing, you got to the heart of this reader.

This is so sad yet true in a number of cases. How evil destroys people's lives!

Indeed only the gospel of Christ can turn things around. Thanks for sharing this with us. It's an emotionally-loaded piece. Great job!
