Topic: Before and After (05/14/09)
I have seen God work many miracles in my own life. I know how God helps us through the before and after of each of our situations.

Just recently, I undertook a major heart surgery! Before I went into surgery I prayed and prayed as I was scared and unsure of the after. I was scared if something was wrong what would happen to me. Those types of things.

I knew that all around me I had people praying for me all the time. I could feel his presence with me everywhere I went. Has God always does He had his hand on me before and after the surgery.

The day that my surgery took place and as I laid on that table I was no longer afraid. God had given the strength and the peace that I needed to pull through!

After my surgery, I was feeling so much better! When we pray and ask for God's help in our situations it is amazing how He answers those prayers.

Our lives before were filled with
no hope for another day. But God changes that when we put our faith and trust in Him. He can turn the bad things from before and turned them into good after.

I like how your title fits the story, but I was hoping for some more "story" to draw me in. Short and sweet is good-but it felt like there was a lot more to this piece. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with you with all my heart. God draws His children to come to Him daily. And as we respond to His love,truth,and holiness- He shows us His dwelling place of mercies, grace and peace that "passeth all understanding."

Psalm 25:14 "The secret of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and He will show them His covenant."

I have prayed with you for full recovery,healing, and joy and peace of being in the hallow of His Hand.

I liked your story. I would have liked to have known more of your feelings and thoughts, what verses maybe came to mind before your surgery and after.

I know God is Our Ultimate Physician and Healer. He instills within us a tranquil peace that only He can bring when we face valleys like this along our life's journey. Thank you for sharing.
