Later on in the day, we went to my parents place, and I spent time with my neices, brothers, and their wives. We all opened the gifts as soon everybody had lunch. I so excited to see my niece's faces light as they opened the gifts in which I gave them. My son, or my brother took a turn to be Santa Claus, and hand out the gifts.
After everybody has opened their gifts, we have a quiet time where my parents nap, and I read a book while the kids play. I think I went outside for a while just to get some air, and be by myself for 15 minutes.
For dinner we all have turkey, dressing, potatoes, vegetables, and salad. I think about the birth of Christ as well. We put on some Christmas music. After dinner, I helped out by washing the dishes, and as soon as we were done cleaning up, I get ready to go home. On Christmas evening, it was nice to be home with my just my husband, and my kids where we spent the rest of the evening together.
This year I have a newborn neice who will be celebrating her first Christmas with her whole family on the Sunday before Christmas.

Take a look at the first paragraph, where you've used "gifts" several times. Think about using synonyms in a few places, perhaps.
I'd also encourage you to use your full 750 words--some dialogue would be fun in this, or some specific Christmas memories.
Keep writing, you're doing a fine job!
