Filling multiple hearts with joy;
But the gift that fills hearts with love,
Is Jesus, God’s own Baby Boy!
Many of the gifts of Christmas
Bring only a momentary pleasure;
The excitement has soon ebbed away,
God’s Gift is a Gift beyond measure!
All homes can’t afford the tinsel and lights,
The trees, the baubles, and glitter;
But Jesus came to bear man’s sin,
Keep hearts from becoming bitter!
Jesus puts a smile on the face,
Springs of joy in the stride.
He’ll comfort, guide, and keep you,
Walk daily close to your side!
He’ll lift your heavy burdens,
Provide for your every need.
He’ll fill hearts with peace and joy,
Re-pay for every good deed!
No matter what your circumstance,
His love is always there,
There’s comfort in His presence,
He will answer every prayer!
So, as you place your presents,
Carefully beneath your tree,
Make room for Jesus in your heart;
That’s the happiest you’ll ever be!
