Put his cell to his ear when he heard a ringtone.
To get his attention, you’ll need a cyclone.
Hang it up, Marvin Malone.
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone,”
Cooed the belle of the ball wearing eau de cologne,
“Waltz with me now or you’ll tango alone.
Pretty please, Marvin Malone.”
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone,”
Said a long-armed musician with bright brass trombone,
“Concert chatter the orchestra cannot condone.
Be quiet, Marvin Malone.”
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone,”
Commanded the queen from her emerald throne,
“Come join me for tea with some jam on a scone.
Be my guest, Marvin Malone.”
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone,”
The doctor prescribed in an ominous tone,
“You might fall and break your occipital bone.
Be careful, Marvin Malone.”
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone,”
Said his grandmother living in Boca Raton,
“And I’ll buy you a triple mint fudge ice cream cone
With two scoops, Marvin Malone.”
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone,”
Growled polar bears deep in the cold arctic zone,
“This iceberg is ours; go get one of your own.
Go away, Marvin Malone.”
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone.”
Hollered hard-hatted Hank with an orange warning cone,
“You’ve driven right into a construction zone.
Look out, Marvin Malone!”
“Marvin Malone, please get off the phone,”
They said from San Juan to Sierra Leone
In Munich, Madrid, in Berlin and Bayonne,
“That’s enough, Marvin Malone.”
Marvin Malone, please get off the phone.
See that hungry lion picking his teeth with a bone?
You’ll be his next meal, standing still as a stone.
Run away, Marvin Malone!
Marvin Malone, please get off the phone.
You’ve been on it so long that your children are grown.
Has anyone seen him? His fate is unknown.
Poor Marvin Malone.
