The Perfect Heart is not perfect,
In its shape or size, But it shows its
Perfection how it is seen by someone
else's eyes.
The Perfect Heart has it edges frayed,
And torn,
Its cover shows much fading,
Because of those who have touched it,
And the Love that it has worn.
When you look you will see the many
Holes, that have pierced its frame,
Put there by life's sorrows and trials,
You will find Love, and it remains the
Same.
A Perfect Heart, is not a Paper Valentine,
You will find that life changes, tried to
Make it hard and cold,
But if you were to look again,it would
Still be soft and pliable to hold.
The Perfect Heart does not look beautiful,
To the eyes that look for beauty by what
"appears" to be."
The Perfect Heart is seen by all, by what
Comes from its living,and giving of Love
Endlessly.
Love never promises life without pain, or
Brokenness or sorrows,
But the Perfect Heart grows stronger
And softer facing, what lays in its
Tomorrows.
Because Love, Is not a Paper Valentine,
A Perfect Heart it never changes,
Though it has faded and torn many times
Apart,
Love tested and worn, is truly a
Perfect Heart.
