Walking through your day
Trouble along the way
Sadness reflecting from your mirror
Nothing to see but a closed door
Look up into the evening sky
Let your spirit fly
Walk away from the troubles you sow
Open up your eyes and look for a window
God may have closed that door
The one you were hoping for
Your dream may not have really been
Behind that door may have been sin
He opened up a window
The way for you to go
How could you know
That door would not show
Fear splits your sky
You ask God, Why
He looks down and sighs,
“Because I alone know where you should fly”
You reply,
“Lord, how do I make the fear fade away?”
He in turn will say,
“Lift up your head and see what I send your way.”
Fear not what comes your way
God is in control of all your days
Never let go or give up
For in the end with God you will sup
