Even though I like to play piano, I havenít composed any songs yet because I donít think itís one of my talents. (My last one here didnít count) However, I wanted to try to write the words for one just for fun. If this could be made I would like it to be an electronic/dance song, because I love that kind of music and there isnít enough decent music in that genre. Let me know what you think and how I can improve! Also, which of these titles sounds best? Radiant Reflectionz... Brilliant Refectionz... Unblinding Reflectionz... or something else?
For hundreds of years they sat in the darkness, waiting for the light to come.
When it finally came many didnít recognize it as the prophecied one.
A light so bright it could heal the broken and open the eyes of the blind
But for others it hurt their eyes and brought too many of their faults to mind

Some tried to put it out the best that they could to stay in hypocricy
While some of them cheered the others mourned and wondered how this could be
Three days later it came back again brighter than before
And many knew it was so much more than any could have hoped for

(chorus) Radiant reflections... coming from above.
The darkness flees away... from the Kingís eternal love
A light for all to see... heavenly majesty
Reflections from our hearts... coming from beyond ourselves
Beyond ourselves

When the light returned from where it came it gave the people brand new power
To heal the sick, to turn the world upside down, and protect them like a tall tower
Although many were enraged and quickly engaged in removing them from the Earth
The chance to present eternal life to all people made it all the worth

Today we can have the same privilege of having this wondrous light
We canít hide it, we gotta let it shine before all men so they can have their sight
Like a prism our lives will blast out a million colors from the greatest light of all
A glorious rainbow of love and salvation, the paramount Gospel call

(chorus)

Let the world see the light... let it put out the night... let the blind begin to see... let the blind begin to see!

(chorus)

The darkness can never defeat the light.
