white entwines with youthful hues
experience carves furrows on my face
layers of change envelop a younger frame
years pass
fire ebbs and wanes
but love remains
our love remains
You remain
anchor of hope
arms of promises made and kept
heart of purity and passion
salt and pepper head
bespectacled eyes that sparkle
And reflected in those eyes
I see the first doesn’t matter
Blessed beyond my dreams
loved without condition
How can this be
What did I do to deserve this
desire of my heart known and bestowed.
A glimpse of God in you.
