TRUST JESUS TODAY
There is so much power in prayer
It is very subtle but it transforms,
The answer is always right there
But we don't see it during the storms.
We want the answers right here, right now
We want them according to our ways,
But God determines the what, the how
In his own time to the very minute, the very day.
If we look beyond our selfish needs
We see the glory of His love and grace,
All his miraculous works and deeds
Look at His Son who died in our place.
As we rely on prayer for more and more
We find ourselves maturing in the Lord,
We're not as selfish as we were before
Our will and God's is more in accord.
We find ourselves praying for others
Their problems and needs are number one,
We cry out for our sisters and brothers
That they may know You and Your Son.
