Just some Easter thoughts.
From here I can see all,
I see people stumble and fall
But I held my breath,
The day they put my Son to death.
I felt each blow of hammer on nails,
My heart broke as I heard the hails
But the greatest agony,
Was when he said "Why has thou forsaken me?"
Then the whole world grew dark,
My son had done his part
For three days he laid in the earth
But rose again, that man may have a second birth.
Now my Son is here with me,
Sharing with me eternity.
Now the lost can be found,
For we are always, always looking down.
