I might be a circus clown or walk upon the moon.
I might fight fires, walk high wires, or film a great cartoon.
But who I am in this old world has nothing to compare
To what I am in Jesus Christ, I hope you are aware.
In Jesus, I am saved. In him, I am redeemed.
He loves me more than I can say. He gave his life for me.
In Jesus, I can pray. He hears my every word.
He answers from his throne on high. In Jesus, I am heard.
In Jesus, I have strength, a power that is great.
When we agree, I know that he will always find a way.
In Jesus, I am loved. He watches over me.
He fills my days, knows all my ways, and in him I am free.
Yes, I might be a movie star or lead our government,
So call me Miss America or Mr. President.
But who I am in this old world has nothing to compare
To what I am in Jesus Christ, I’m safe within his care.
