My son and his wife are one of the happiest married couples I know. This sign outside their front door is indicative of that happiness.
The welcome sign
by their front door reads,
LOVE GROWS HERE.
And it does.
Our son's heart showers
love onto his wife of a decade,
less two years, like a
while she bathes in his love -
and returns that love
with a sweet and gentle spirit,
needing nothing more.
Two children of
six and three years
have trickled from this
waterfall of love.
They are like sponges,
and one day the Welcome sign
by their respective front doors
may say, LOVE GROWS HERE.
And it will!
