A great witness to crowds who know the old song, get caught up in the tune and hear the new words.
Two young men, Prayed and then,
Each had a favourite verse,
Satan attacked, He didn’t hold back,
Everyday seemed worse.
But one young man, Then got a plan,
They prayed even harder now,
Sincerely they prayed, Were not waylaid,
To satan they would not bow.
Did you think we would just stop praying,
When the going got really rough,
No way Nick! We’re not just playing,
We are Christians both bold and tough.
We know that our Lord is Sovereign,
He answers our prayers and then,
We’ll grow up and both be preachers,
No longer just two young men.
Time soon flew, Before they knew,
They each went a different way,
So satan now lied, He really tried,
To ruin their everyday,
But distance is nought, When God is sought,
And prayers are just made to flow.
Because the Holy Ghost, is truly the most,
And the devil just needs to know,
We are strong and we are still praying,
We are not afraid of you,
We are older now and we are preaching,
We are standing both bold and true.
Did you think we would just give in now,
Stop praying and let you win?
We think that you should remember,
When we were two young men
