A couple fairly big changes are happening at FaithWriters – changes that will help ALL members improve their writing and get it out to a wider audience.

WRITING CHALLENGE

First, the Writing Challenge, one of the most loved aspects of FaithWriters. Currently, only paying members of FaithWriters (gold and platinum members) are able to enter the challenge. Well, no more. Starting with the next challenge quarter, which begins October 4, Silver members will be able to enter the first topic of each quarter. So, four times a year, ANYONE can throw their original 150-750 word piece into the challenge, allowing the opportunity to be published in a FaithWriters anthology, win the $20 prize for first place overall, and even qualify for Best of the Best! Our hope, of course, is that your “taste” of the challenge will whet your appetite enough to become a gold or platinum member. But even if you can’t, don’t miss the first topic of the fourth quarter – it will be announced here October 4!

EBOOK STORE

If you have an ebook in FaithWriters’ bookstore, we have some great news. If your book is on Smashwords and/or Amazon, you can now add the URL for your book from those locations to your FaithWriters Ebook page. The benefit of this is that it allows the buyer to obtain your book in many formats instead of just pdf.

This is a must if you want to really promote your book. Only the books that add these urls will be available to buyers in many formats. So this is important.

We will be increasing the promotion of the book store considerably and are now offering Bibles, concordances and best selling Christian books through the site. These additions will attract outside buyers more readily. Members books will be featured as exclusive from up and coming Christian authors.

And if you don’t have an ebook there yet, what are you waiting for?

DO YOU HAVE BOOKS IN THE FAITHWRITERS EBOOK STORE? ARE YOU PLANNING TO GIVE THE WRITING CHALLENGE A TRY NEXT MONTH?
