Can you believe it is only eighteen days until Christmas? I love this season – the music, the lights, the snow, the reminders of the the TRUE reason for the season. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, came to the world as a baby so that we could live with Him forever.
Of course, one tradition of Christmas is to give gifts. And perhaps you never thought about looking at your favorite Christian writing site for a Christmas gift for the writer – the FaithWriters – in your life.
The first suggestion is a FaithWriters anthology. There are several to choose from, and the stories, from past Writing Challenges, are sure to be a blessing. Each book has over six dozen pieces of writing – poetry, fiction, non-fiction – chosen as the best each week in past challenges. You’re sure to find inspiration! Sounds like something a reader or writer might enjoy? Click here for a few of them, or check out some others here.
But maybe a book like that isn’t what you’re looking for. Did you know you can get FaithWriters clothing, buttons, and other such items? If you stop by CafePress.com, you can find t-shirts, buttons and magnets, a license plate frame, a golf shirt, mug, mouse pad, hooded sweatshirt, a tote bag or messenger bag, a teddy bear, coasters, and more. Click on the item you’re interested in above, or just explore the site. You never know what you might find
Hope you’ve got some ideas! Praying for a Christ-filled Christmas season.

CHRISTMAS EVE
Not a peep to be heard;
Not a soul in sight;
No concern to be feared;
No doubt of what’s right;
May weaves of Christmas eve,
Prepare hearts to believe,
That truths of Christmas day,
Are God’s gifts come to stay.
My prayer is for physical and spiritual healing for my brother, Joshua, who is in a nursing home with multiple illnesses. Also, I pray for physical and emotional healing for a friend’s son who has liver cancer. My prayer for the world that God so loved is salvation.
