As a guest author, and Associate Pastor of the Christian Prayer Center, I have a deep respect for Christian authors, and those who take their writing seriously here.  For it is in writing that the gospel of the Lord has been passed down for thousands of years.  In this modern day, eloquent and descriptive writing is equally essential to our faith.

In modern Christianity, and in our digital age, there are many advantages to embracing the advancement of literacy.  Writers may use their skills to craft prayer requests in order to petition to God.  They may write praise reports to effectively describe the divine blessings that they have experienced.  As a Christian writer, you have the opportunity to shape what other faithful Christians may read and how they interpret their spirituality.

“In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35

Quite literally, the Bible encourages us to sharpen our skills and work hard.  The Bible recognizes the benefit to one’s hard work.  To draw a parallel, we can say that a talented Christian writer is able to give to his community by presenting poignant and helpful religious articles and teachings.  A teacher who is versed in communicating his knowledge is always more powerful.

At the Christian Prayer Center, we are blessed to receive a multitude of prayer requests on a daily basis.  The community reads these petitions to God, and gathers their support behind the author, and their needs.  A well written prayer request does not go unnoticed as it is pleasant to read, and often draws more attention.  We salute the good work, and mission of Faith Writers and encourage your mission of self improvement, and the enjoyment of your art.
