This is a bittersweet post for me. I have been the official FaithWriters blogger since the creation of this blog in January, 2010, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. However, many good things must come to an end, and for me, the time has come to say goodbye as your blogger. Several factors play into my reason for leaving, but it’s mostly just a change of direction. I know it’s the right thing for me at this time, but it’s still a sad moment.
What makes it easier, however, is knowing the blog is being handed off to someone more than capable of filling my flip-flops, and who is likely to bring this blog to new levels of greatness. When considering who might be interested in this position, only one person came to mind. I knew that I knew that I knew she was the perfect replacement. So I approached her about it. And, after taking a little time to think and pray it over, she accepted. With much enthusiasm, I might add!
Most of you know her already, but I am thrilled to announce that starting on Monday, July 4th, JOANNE SHER will be taking over as your blogger. As I said, I have absolutely no doubt that Jo was the right choice for the job.
So…
With a bit of sadness I say goodbye, and with great joy I hand the blog over to Joanne. But even though I’m saying goodbye, I’ll definitely be around. Can’t wait to see what new and exciting things are in store!

Thank you, Bob!
You’ve done a great job, Lynda but all good things must come to an end. Can’t wait to watch you as you move forward in your journey. Off you go…
I will miss you. I’ve certainly enjoyed your posts. I wish you well. Yet, I know Joanne will do a great job.
Lynn, I only HOPE I can fill your flip-flops. You have done a fabulous job, my friend. So excited for all that is ahead for you. Looking forward to diving in (AND hearing about all your future success!).
Thanks, Kim and Ann. I will miss it too, I’m sure!
Lynda,
Thanks for ALL you do in our faithwriter’s family!
I know your “baby,” the blog is being placed in capable hands. Joanne, I’d guess you have many exciting ideas ready to be unveiled!

(LOL NO idea why this showed up as being from Lynda before! I guess I don’t have this quite figured out yet.)
I truly didn’t expect so many comments. You guys are the bestest!
Even good things can be sad–but what a change in direction for you! You’ve given so much to FW, Lynda, and we’re much richer for it.
Joanne will do great. =] Both of you have beautiful hearts.
Hugs!
Ahhhh man, I’m so not good with goodbyes… thankfully we know where you are, Lynda
You can’t get away that easy (hugs)
And I wonder, does Jo does anything without enthusiasm?? Lots of love to you both and may the Lord heaps His blessings on you right where you are.
It’s sad and happy. That’s my writer eloquence coming out.
Congratulations to both of you!
