Such a cute comic!! I happen to have just now posted a blog on my website- mybrightsideblog.weebly.com on this very subject.. I don’t do resolutions but I do have many hopes for the New Year…as always it’s about knowing God and living for Him more fully. I hope you’ll pop over to my website and check out my latest post…and may God bless you in all you do this New Year!
Boy, do I love New Year’s! A clean calendar! Pushing back yesterday and focusing on the future! I do make a few, serious resolutions/goals each year. No, I don’t always get there, but I have something to shoot for.
My grandmother Brown died in 2000 at 103. She was born in 1800′s, lived thru 1900′s and into 2000. She ALWAYS had plans for tomorrow, next week, next month. She was plugged into life. Thank You, Father, for a chance to do better this year than last, an opportunity to serve You better.
I was planning to post (blog) my hopes for 2011 today, but I’ll spill a bit here too.
This year, for my family and me, is a year for new beginnings. (I love Mona’s reference to the clean calendar.) What that looks like, I have no idea but am excited about it. I am not setting resolutions, but will be laying out some goals that hopefully I will meet by the end of 2011.
Well, I just became a 500 member yesterday. One of my resolutions is to make this a year of writing for God. I want to touch others and have my own faith grow in the process.
God has been tugging at my heartstrings – this year I resolve to listen! He always has something better planned for me then anything I could come up with!
Hahahahaha! I know exactly how she feels–thanks for posting that.
I don’t think I’ve ever made a New Year’s resolution in my entire life, so why start now? But God has been disciplining me to be more serious about not wasting time this past season, so I’m going to keep letting Him lead me.
10 Comments until now.

My hopes for 2011-start with a clean slate. Live each day for the Glory of God. Don’t look back at failures but look forward to successes.

I resolve to be more of what God created me to be. Part of that is to more regularly write to my blog.

Happy New Year to all!
I have these goals:
to finish my WIP novel
to get an agent (harder for me b/c I can’t afford to go to conferences)
to get a book contract.
God’s many blessings to all for the new year. 2011 is gonna be heaven!
