Because it’s October 1 (I know, can you believe it?) today’s Friday Free-for-All question is simple.
With the kids back in school, maybe you’ve had more time to write. Tell us what you worked on last month. Any major accomplishments? Did you start a new project? Add thousands of words to your novel? Submit to a magazine? Enter the FaithWriters Challenge? Win an award?

I guess it will be a true highlight in October but in September, I was overwhelmed with story submissions from everyday folks (not writers) to share their WOW God stories on my website. I will start featuring them next week! I am SOOOO excited about it! What an encouragement these folks have been and will be to others! God is sooo good!
Lessee – I typed in 96 handwritten pages of my Biblical fiction, AND worked quite a bit on getting parts of it ready to submit to a couple contests coming up this month. Also started critiquing with some friends, and the ACFW critique group.
I wrote a short story about a modern day miracle experience with a friend that was read at her funeral. Very sad, but I’m hoping it touched a couple lives.
my book Power Keys: 5 Secrets to Unlocking God’s Power, has found a publisher….
Had a story published on StoriesThatLift.com… posted “real life” articles at The Cypress Times and on my blog!
September was an inspired month for me at least blog-wise. My creativity branched out in putting together a lovely power point show for my nephew’s wedding. and the rewrite on the novel looms over me like a cloud… but aaaah these sweet Indian Summer days distract me!
In September I wrote in my journal and I had one short ditty that I wrote on facebook (less than 400 letters of course) about somebody following me. Does that count? . . . Woe is me. :-\
I caught up on my website/blog which had been neglected while I took care of my daughter who was so ill that her family had to come home from the mission field for her to get care. During that drawn out time of suffering, I kept a daily log of her condition to send to others, but that was not for September. It is the reason that I had so much catching up to do in the month of September. Check out janieupchurch.com for a fun story under my novel section.
I write daily for the fun of writing and sharing Christian truths and happy stories.
Wrapped up my Page Turner entry, now formatting/polishing the entire manuscript. October is about praying over the entry and finally submitting!
I tried a huge freelance goal for writing a number of articles per week that would make the cut and they all did.
I was blessed by comments people left with my Internet Cafe marriage counter post regarding What to do when You Think You Married the Wrong Person.
I didn’t get an acceptance letter for the Cup of Comfort series entry and that’s ok. I tried something new and that’s a victory to me.
God is good.
