So this week we slid into September. WOW! Am I the only one who cannot believe we’re only 4 months away from Christmas? All of that shopping and wrapping and baking and decorating…it’s already stressing me out.
But I digress. For now, we’ll focus on September. Back-to-school, changing leaves, cooler weather (at least in many parts of the world).
They say that fall tends to be a more creative season for many writers. So, tell me, is that true for you? Do you have any particular goals for this month? A specific word-count you’re shooting for? Do you hope to achieve a certain number of blog posts? Submit to so many magazines? Or many enter all of the Weekly Writing Challenges?
Now is the time to list your September goals. Put it out there for the world to see, if for no other reason that to give yourself some sort of accountability.
Looking forward to hearing your goals and, better yet, rejoicing with you when you achieve them!

Oy! Not liking being the first one to “put it out there,” but here goes. My goal is to get words/first chapter on paper for my Pageturner entry (um, yeah, since the contest closes soon) and enter the challenge at least once. Whew, that feels better already.
My goals are: to try to read and review one book each week (if they can get them to me quickly enough), to blog once each week in a new series I’m starting next week (that is more of an ongoing testimony about how I overcame childhood abuse and truly forgave my abuser with God’s help), and to try and get daily discussions going on my daily devotional blog.
My goals are to work more hours and write more! I want to start getting ready to write for magazines and doing the research for that!
Oh and I want to get some goodies together for upcoming give-aways on my blog in October and November, just in time for the holidays! Need to find folks who want to donate for that. I want to continue to encourage women on my blog.
I am super inspired by Fall and plan to start a Fall Diary this month. I purpose to enter every weekly Writer’s Challenge (which has been such good training for me on so many levels) and to make more time for reading. Happy Fall, ya’ll!
Finish first draft of novel. Approx. 40,000 words to go.
Hi,
I am a brand new blogger — as of this week in fact. I developed a devotional blog to inspire and encourage people and to tell the world about God’s love, power and majesty. I’m excited to be joining Faith Writers. My goals for the month of September is develop a more intimate relationship with the Lord, write devotionals for my blog and market my blog through the many channels there are. And also to explore this web site. Thank you! http://www.virtuouswomanministry.blogspot.com.
