Here’s a fun question for you to ponder. Do you know your ABC’s?

Of course you know I’m not talking about the alphabet. So where am I going with this? Glad you asked.

By ABC’s, I mean your writing Aspirations, Beginnings, and Celebrations.

A= ASPIRATIONS: What are your writing aspirations? My aspiration is to be a published novelist. Really, it always has been. Even though I feel very blessed to have many non-fiction credits to my name, my ultimate dream is to see my novel on bookstore shelves.

B= BEGINNINGS: When did you know you wanted to be a writer? It’s always good to look back at when and how our dream began. Mine started in elementary school when I wrote a short story that my teacher raved about and encouraged me to enter in a contest. I didn’t  finish the story in time so I never did submit it, but that was the beginning of my writing journey.

C= CELEBRATIONS: What have you accomplished so far with your writing? Me? Greeting cards, articles, online content, short stories, contest  wins and placements…I’ve even recently acquired an agent who is currently pitching my first novel (getting me closer to A!). I have lots to celebrate and praise God for!

What about you? Tell us about your personal ABC’s!
