So now that summer vacation has officially begun for most of us, how about a mini challenge about some rest and relaxation? Stop for a moment and close your eyes (well, read the rest of this first), then think about the best vacation you’ve ever taken. Maybe it was a romantic trip to Hawaii or maybe it was Disney with the kids. Or maybe it was just a whole week at home, doing nothing.
Now, write about it. In 100 words or less.
Never taken a vacation or can’t think of your favorite? Then write about your fantasy vacation. Where would you most like to visit?
Grab your relaxation helmet and tackle it!

When the kids were little we spent our summers at camp. Though, those were some of my happiest times, I really did come home to recuperate from all the extra work. Since then, chronic illness, divorce and making ends meet have left ‘vacation’ a luxury only to be imagined.
Should I ever actually get to take one I should like to go to some far away, secluded spa where, after a week or two, I would emerge looking and feeling as though the years have been as kind to me on the outside as God has been on the inside.
The best vacation I have ever taken was when I was a kid. The week I got to spend every summer at church camp was the best! I would get to see my friends there every year that I otherwise wouldn’t get to see because they lived in other towns and cities.
Church camp was also the place where I met my husband!
How I loved running around with him and my friends, playing tether ball, singing and worshiping God. It was the best time of my life.
