Grab the tissues…Yesterday wrapped up the third quarter of the Writing Challenge. The next topic will be announced on April 8th. I know…sniff…sniff…

Take a moment. It’s ok.

Now dry your eyes because during this brief Challenge hiatus, there is plenty to keep you entertained!

  • First, there are still entries to read and comment on. The WOW entries are posted and waiting for your comments. So go to town!
  • Next Thursday, the winners for WOW will be announced. That’s something exciting to look forward to!
  • There is the Mini Challenge to keep those creative juices flowing and give you your Challenge fix! If you haven’t participated in the Off-Season Mini Challenges, I encourage you to get in there and give it a try. There is currently a homonym mini challenge going on. Too fun! Here is the link: OFF-SEASON MINI CHALLENGE
  • Finally, there is this blog! Meet your fellow members on Mondays, check back on Tuesdays for “Tackle it Tuesday”- a 50-words-or-less challenge that will help you brush up on your ability to stick to a word count. It’s not as easy as it sounds! On Wednesday, find out what’s happening at FaithWriters. Next Thursday (Thirsty Thursday), read a helpful writing article. And on Friday, well, who knows what will be posted? We don’t call it Unfocused Friday for nothing! (But it will be something good!)

So, you see, there is plenty to keep you busy until the Challenge resumes. But we’ll understand if you experience a few sentimental moments when missing the Challenge gets the best of you. Just keep those tissues nearby and remember…it’s only 2 weeks. April 8th will be here before you know it.
