Love is validated when it is shared. Giving and receiving is the way we add balance to life. Each of us have something to give away to another and there is someone out there who needs what we have to offer. Life is less bitter and people are less hostile when they are surrounded with love. Everyone need to feel love and accepted whether they realize it or nor not. Because of God’s love He gives grace in abundance to balance our shortcomings, our faults and failures. Likewise we are to reach out to others in love. Sharing our lives is what makes us complete. Only when we invest our lives into someone else’s do we become the whole persons we are meant to be. It is true that we are at our best when we attempt to make life easier for another. Give someone a rose and the beauty of the fragrance will be left on your hand.
Gratitude helps us to maintain a positive attitude and adds balance to life. If we choose to see the glass as half full rather than half empty we will express thankfulness rather than complain. Sharing is prompted by gratitude. My strength is given to me to share with someone who is weak. My joy is given to me to share with someone whose life is full of sorrow. The world will be a place of beauty when each of us give a portion of what we have to a person who lacks. The strong is to bear the infirmities of the weak and add balance to their lives. Giving more of ourselves benefits the receivers but it also brings peace and joy to our lives.
Patience gives balance to our lives. Each of us in every corner of the universe without exception have inner struggles. When we show patience with another we are saying, “You have worth, I value you, I believe in you.“ Having patience with another’s shortcoming means we walk a little slower so they can catch up. We stay a little longer and spend more time with the lonely person. Make patience a habit, cultivate it and allow it to strengthen you. Remember the endless patience the Father has toward us and He never gives up on us.
The person who walk in love, practices kindness and expresses gratitude have a balanced life. The Bible promises that God will guide you if you let Him. He wants to be a partner with us in all of life’s affairs. Sometimes life makes demands on us and it becomes frustrating and exhausting. We find balance by drawing near to God in prayer and praise. When we express our gratitude to Him for past blessings and patiently wait on God, He comes to us and cover us with grace.
