We hear what we can dream

We hear what we respect
We hear what gives us passion
We hear what is softly shared
We hear what the heart recognizes as truth
We hear what draws us away from the everyday
We hear the soul that sings
We hear suffering and love
We hear when we are attuned
We hear when we try
We hear when quietness abides
We hear and form our desires
We hear if we listen closely --
What we hear forms who we become
And what we place on the wind to be heard…©
