Here I go again, oh Lord
The heat rising inside
My angst against all aboard
My selfish rising tide
There is little place for peace to reside
You’ve given me instruction
Sent saints to intervene
Yet I travel toward destruction
My heartfelt efforts lean
Failures the whole world has seen
All that made clear
You still never give up
You seem to have no fear
That You can empty my cup
And then You shall fill it back up
I’m so thankful
That You never give up on me
