I don't even know where to start in expressing the wonderful benefits the Faithwriters 500 has brought into my life. They have been many and bounteous - and worth hundreds of times what I have paid for this service.
The writing articles from 500 member Glenn Hascall are, just in themselves, worth the cost of the service. Weekly, we are blessed with the amazing knowledge and expertise of this man, who shares the writing wisdom he has learned through years of writing trial and error. His advice, in only one of many examples, encouraged me to not "pull" an article that was under consideration with a magazine after a year. I took his advice and left it there, and just a couple months ago, the editor contacted me wanting to use the piece for which I ended up getting paid a triple digit figure!
The FaithWriters 500 has also encouraged me, like nothing else, to work on actually writing a full-length manuscript (or two!). For the past five years, I have been thinking about, and even jotting a note here and there about, writing a non-fiction work about my husband's health issues. I know God has called me to share this story, but I have not had the motivation. Thanks to the Page Turner non-fiction contest this year, I have the motivation to actually work on the book itself. Having that deadline of September 1st hasn't hurt either!
I have also used other amazing benefits of the 500 - private messenger (LOVE IT!), publication in Faithwriters' Magazine, the free writer's website, discounts on Sally Stuart's Market Guide and Writer's Digest - and they just keep adding to the benefits. There isn't a better deal on the internet, in my opinion.
Perhaps, however, the best part of the Faithwriters 500 - and Faithwriters itself - is the amazing support, fellowship, and encouragement it provides. I ask myself: How can I partake of this wonderful website, that is certainly a gift from God, and NOT support it with my finances?
