Some MORE Superbole* from a November morning "armchair quarterback"- 2018 edition
Having finished the prerequisite time for mourning the Loss of my beloved Vikings team in the NFC Championship game last week, I now turn my eye towards amending, or at least adding to, an old write that I meant to revisit last February. That was when those New England Patriots pulled out that most stunning Superbowl victory, against all odds and History. My eyes are now clear, having wiped the last proverbial tear away. (Actually though, I think I shed my last REAL tear for my team, or ANY sport, after the disappointing 1998 championship loss to the soon to be mentioned Atlanta Falcons).
This is an effort to keep with the AMAZING theme and flavor of my Superbowl "Report" of a few years ago. I will include it at the end of this story. I suggest anyone who hasn't yet read it to read that one FIRST to get the intended spirit of this similar piece. It IS quite enlightening, entertaining and even incredible in the illustration of "coincidences" between many Superbowls and the American political climate around them. With that being said, I am also hinting a bit at this next Superbowl not letting us down in this similar regard.
After Letting that last Superbowl "age" for a whole year, the armchair quarterback aspect of "Never being wrong" in my analysis is even greater than what I could even have imagined.
For the opening kickoff, here is a quick blurb that I posted on a social media site right after last year's Superbowl that I never really followed up on, until now anyways:
"I have been meaning to add to a write of mine that is somewhat tongue in cheek and somewhat serious. It's based on the incredible coincidences I have found between the Superbowl teams and the Presidential/political climate at the time. It is seemingly eerie , but its mostly just a fanciful enjoyable distraction to me. Tonight"s greatest comeback in history of the "Patriots" against those dirty birds of prey "Falcons", with a last second, unbelievable victory.... to me, sounds a lot like the Patriotic Trump's unbelievable political victory. Pulling out at the last second, humanity"s ass, saving it from the predator "old birds". Just to give a flavor of the write. ( I still gotta work out who exactly these losing falcons represent) Hell, I'll put it up here. (That old write) It's mostly fun, but somewhat amazing and educational . That's what I think anyways."
To that year old, post game analysis, in armchair QB- like fashion, I was able to quickly add the expository narrative of how the news agency CNN is, in fact, headquartered out of Atlanta. This is made even more interesting by the fact that over this last year the victorious Trump "Patriot" movement has continually and gloriously been battling and kicking ass with/on those old "fake news" CNN dirty birds, based out of Atlanta.
But now we turn to the current Superbowl. We have the Philadelphia Eagles versus those trusty old Patriots.... I must admit that I have been growing quite fond of that team over recent years. This, for no other reason than what "Patriots" symbolize to me in light of these writes. This affection not hindered at all by Mr. Brady's and his coach's constant and outspoken support for one Mr. Trump.
Those Eagles presented a bit of a problem for my "coincidence" paradigm, or at least this is what I thought at first. I was somewhat prepared for the Vikings to be the opponents to the Patriots. I thought I was going to be mentioning here a recent news story that I came across months ago, in which recent archaeological findings were suggesting that many of those real Vikings of old were found to have actually been of the Moslem religious persuasion rather than a Christian one, like what had always been assumed. It IS interesting that before the Vikiings were devastated by those Eagles in the game, that it was reported that even before the Championship game was played, there were online NFL advertisements seen promoting a Superbowl between the Patriots and the Vikings. Remember now, an armchair quarterback is never wrong, and can spin up some real doozies of excuses or even conspiracy theory. Perhaps there WAS, in fact, a planned, or at least cosmically "posed" battle between Patriots and the said to be Muslim Vikings. ( I'll refrain from the now unnecessary exposition on THAT kind of match up). But, alas, that never happened. HMMMMMMM??? Instead we have a New upcoming battle .
I am left pondering what an Eagle/ Patriot match up could symbolize in my paradigm. I wonder and scheme about several possible play calls. Does it include what an "Eagle" from Philadelphia might symbolize? ( Freedom... In the town that boasts the Liberty Bell, etc.). Certainly, that would be a winning, or a win/win play call symbolically to America. Or, maybe I can call a flea flicker play on this and speak of how the Eagle wasn't even the consensus choice of many founding father Patriots for the American National symbolic bird. (Ben Franklin believed it should be the turkey.) But that play might even be too elaborate of a razzle dazzle one for even THIS patriot loving, wannabe prognosticator to pull off. Perhaps a much simpler double reverse could be the correct play call. This involving the ironically named "City of Brotherly love" (Much akin to the ironically named "Saints" of a sin filled city called New Orleans...Oh, I had THAT one loaded for bear for this year's playoffs as well.) But this trick play goes like this: Everyone who follows sports (or breathes air in through their nostrils) is well aware of the "loving" nature of Philadelphia's fans and its citizens. This kind of "city of Brotherly love" is much akin to the "loving" nature of many of the anti - Trump protestors...Especially the likes of ANTIFA who "lovingly" protest supposed perceived fascism by violently and lovingly bashing a Trump supporter's head in. Please forgive me Philly, I'm not equating your town's "Brotherly love" morally with ANTIFA . But for illustration purposes, in this light, it works. (Did I mention I'm a Viking's fan? Lol)
Speaking of being a sore loser, it seems as though to a (Tom) Brady Bunch world (The land of the Patriots), that those "fake news", old dirty birds are still going around annoyingly decrying, "Russia, Russia, Russia!, everything is Russia,Russia,Russia!"
But it IS always there lurking in the back of ALL of our minds politically, this Russia thing. It seems so inescapably pressed into our consciousness.
So, on a whim , I did a quick Google search, "What is the National bird of Russia?" And there it is! Oh Boy. What do you know? It's... the Eagle.
So.... I've got my easy chair, my remote control, my organic corn chips and salsa, and my pizza and I AM ready. Ready to do that thing that I love to do. Stay tuned. (Lord willing)
"Down! ...Ready!...Set!".....Do I dare say? "Hutt!"

Some "Superbole" * from a November morning "armchair quarterback"-dj eckert
Most of us know what a Monday morning (after the Superbowl) armchair quarterback is. Well I'm gonna play the role here of a "November morning of an election year (after the Superbowl) armchair quarterback".
Just in the same way that a Monday morning Quarterback is always right, my own post Superbowl election analysis, in the upcoming explained light is ALSO right. (lol).
There is an expression that says " If you torture the data long enough, it will confess to anything" .
If some of these seem like kind of a "stretch", well... it's because they probably are. That all being said, still I think, this is at least somewhat intriguing, entertaining and even in some strange way, a little bit enlightening.
There are some things that I've noticed about the NFL Suberbowls during the years of the National Presidential elections.
Not that I believe this is necessarily some conspiracy. But I do find the coincidences very interesting and at least maybe some kind of "cosmic symbology", whether really "conspired" or not.
(Although if one feels so enticed, they could check out the book:

The last two Presidential election year Superbowls have featured the New England Patriots battling the New York Giants.
When you look at the groups of people that each namesake and their kind of candidate represents: The Patriots (founding father like candidates, namely a Ron Paul) versus The Giants, I think their name actually comes from the idea that the "Giants of Industry" are based there in NYC . (Status Quo, business as usual establishment candidates, namely the likes of an Obama.)
In BOTH years, 2008 (upsetting those "unbeatable" Patriots) and 2012, those Giants of industry also defeated the Patriots in the Superbowl.
Their establishment real life candidate ALSO defeated the Patriot candidates in November. Interesting coincidences? I've got more examples, and some are downright eerie.
In 2000 the Rams knocked down the Titans,. (Titan: A person or thing of very great strength, intellect, or importance) the same year we elected a President that went on to be, at the very least, presiding over "The greatest show on earth/turf" when some tall Titans (buildings) were knocked down or "Rammed" down in Sept of 2001. "Greatest show on earth" for sure.
It's also interesting that in 2002 (the very next Superbowl), those nasty rammers (Rams-an interesting Biblical symbol, I might interject) were defeated by the good old Patriots.
Also maybe even MORE interestingly, in the 2001 Superbowl, before said tragic event, the Ravens ( a bird that seems to symbolize an omen of death as per the writings of Edgar Allan Poe) quite handedly brought down the NYC Giants ... some kind of prophecy perhaps?
In 1992, the Washington D.C (establishment)Redskins went on to defeat the Buffalo Bills. And for four years like the Buffalo team's fans, our country also lost and got used to being "Buffalo'd by the likes of a Bill" . Enough so to re-elect him.
In 2004, the Patriots defeated the panthers. ( Perhaps in a way to prepare us for the upcoming Superbowl's
"revenge of the panther"?)
Here's another bonus interesting one:
What year did that "bird of death" the Ravens take down those miners of gold, the 49ers? Answer: 2013. Now look at a chart of gold prices over the last 10 years, when did gold prices start their last current massive decline ...when was it?... you guessed it, 2013. ( I seem to recall some half-time "Illumination" shenanigans in that game... much like the gold prices... hmmm?)
But I see the tide is turning! Last year the Patriots "stole one " from those , "indefinable birds of prey" the Seahawks.
Now in turning to our next election year superbowl coming up . The first one, I might add, since 9/11 that hasn't included the Patriots, (Who were replaced by a wild or "untrained" horse, Bronco; whatever THAT might mean. Although it is interesting that Denver is the proclaimed capitol city of the North American Union).
We have the avenging panthers who last lost to the Patriots, against the aforementioned Broncos (the wild or untrained horse). Now what two groups may these two teams represent? I have some interesting conjectures, but I will refrain for now. I'm sure some like minded people could probably guess what they are. But I'll wait till November to take my place in that "old armchair". I pray to the Lord God Almighty that by then It's NOT too late.
So maybe, when we sit to watch the Big Game there is more at stake than the Lombardi Trophy , or maybe NOT. ( Lord willing)
Given the current brewing political climate ( Through NWO eyes) , if I were a betting man or a prognosticator, I might put some money on the Panthers beating the Patriots in the next SB. It certainly seems feasible.
Or... Or for a REALLY big long shot with a huge payoff... The Oakland election Raiders beating The New York Giant. (Dude, I may have to rethink this betting thing.) lol.
