Struggling with challenges that continually overwhelm you?
Beating against immovable patterns that are obviously generational? Patterns that seem like covenants with the ancestry, in the way that they are manifest in the life of one family member to another; with exactness and uncanny similarity
why you ask and what and how can these be broken; you have tried every ‘solution in the book’, solutions from your own creative insights have not worked either, why not? True it is not by human power or might but by the spirit of the Lord most High.
Seek knowledge and understanding and the Lord shall open your ‘eyes of understanding’ to identify the ‘why’ and afterwards the ‘how’.
In life, there are foundational situations deeply embedded in ancestral works and the consequences thereof
During the time of our Lord the Jesus Christ, this is what happened in;
Matthew 27:25
19 While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus. 21 The governor answered and said to them, “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?”
They said, “Barabbas!”
22 Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?”
They all said to him, “Let Him be crucified!”
23 Then the governor said, “Why, what evil has He done?”
But they cried out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified!”
24 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person." You see to it.”
25 AND ALL THE PEOPLE ANSWERED AND SAID, “HIS BLOOD BE ON US AND ON OUR CHILDREN.”
26 Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.
Abel’s blood…Genesis 4:10 relate to Hebrews 12:24
Abel was Cain’s brother who was murdered by his own biological brother, out of insane envy and jealousy. Abel might have been a humble spirited fellow but he had an aggressive blood that did not give the almighty any rest until vengeance was achieved.
The blood is described by the most High as a pulsating life-force, which no-one was permitted to shed or eat. Leviticus 17:11- 14
Luke 14: 28 … being wise and planning what the consequences of our words and actions can become, these often roll into the lives of children yet unborn. A principled creator and His creation, results in; every action has a consequential reaction.
2 Peter 2: 4- 14
1 Kings 21… Of Naboth’s Vineyard and the consequences of covetousness and , note verse 10 and evil witnesses that abound in this day in order to perpetrate evil desires by spreading wicked rumours/propaganda about others in order to destroy them.
Naboth most likely with his dying breathe, placed a curse on EVERY individual involved in his untimely and innocent death.
GOD PLACES CURSES, in which case are very difficult to get rid of! It took the wise intervention of the (righteous) MAN-OF-GOD, Moses when this was the lot of the Jewish people
… thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the Lord.
21 Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
22 And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.
23 And of Jezebel also spake the Lord, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.
24 Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.
25 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
26 And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.
27 And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.
28 And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
29 SEEST THOU HOW AHAB HUMBLETH HIMSELF BEFORE ME? BECAUSE HE HUMBLETH HIMSELF BEFORE ME, I WILL NOT BRING THE EVIL IN HIS DAYS: BUT IN HIS SON'S DAYS WILL I BRING THE EVIL UPON HIS HOUSE.
Romans 9: 17
Pharaoh, a stiff necked reprobate, extremely wicked, used his position and power; went out of his way to annihilate a generation of people out of envy, jealousy and fear. Definitely the mark of Cain was upon him and generations to come after him (these would come to suffer the ‘sins of their fathers’)
2 Kings 5:
Gehazi, servant of Elisha an accursed (?) person who brought generational curse unto his descendants… 26 Then he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? 27 THEREFORE THE LEPROSY OF NAAMAN SHALL CLING TO YOU AND YOUR DESCENDANTS FOREVER.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.
God takes vengeance upon a person even unto 4 generations after him!
Curses, covenants and evil generational patterns do manifest in character disposition, health problems, marital instability, and career challenges. Generally, difficulties in various areas of life and living that should normally not be an issue, become uphill tasks in the life of a person or persons under such oppressions due to the above reasons. Once identified, complete surrender/ humbling of self , asking for forgiveness on behalf of the fore-fathers and restituting the ‘sins’ where possible, including intensive prayers are needed, some not leaving EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING!
Numbers 14:18
18 ‘The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.’
Ephesians 5:
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
