Encouragement
Dear friend,
Thanks for taking time to pray with. I love and esteem you and your ministry. I also believe in the incredible prayer of agreement. Nothing can be compared to putting God in absolute control when we humbly ask and agree with one or more believers who have strong faith, like you. I truly cherish our friendship, and give thanks to God for making our paths cross. I pray that this divine relationship will keep flourishing in Christ Jesus.
Acts 12:5.
So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
2Corinthians 1:11.
(Paul the Apostle says) "And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety."
Acts 14:19,20.
Then some Jews arrived from Antioch and Iconium and won the crowds to their side. They stoned Paul and dragged him out of town, apparently dead. But as the believers gathered around him (praying for him), he got up and went back into the town.
I'm convinced that no matter the high and lofty positions we occupy in the body of Christ, sometimes, we must be willing and humble to ask friends, fans or family to intercede for us and with us. God respects our diverse gifts and callings, and expects us to do the same by putting them to use for the benefit of the entire body, which we're part of.
One of the most grievous sin or at least oversight of Christian couples, corporate staff or Christian fellowships, is the refusal to pray together regularly. This is an obvious and ultimate underutilization of most vital, abundant, and readily available spiritual resources, for our personal benefit and that of the entire body of Christ.
Matthew 18:19, 20.
“I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”
This is one of the most powerful result producing scriptures I have ever read. It is apparently explicit in assuring us that our absolute agreement, especially in prayer, takes the responsibility of fulfilling our requests or desires totally out of the capacity and ability of the parties agreeing. But that our agreement puts this great responsibility totally in God's capable hands - the only one who's capable of doing ALL things and with whom NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE - this is incredible, Hallelujah!
It's always the earnest yearning of every honorable heart - to get God alone to do it and not the proud, boastful, empty promises of people who tell us they can, when they actually can't!
Psalm 146:3-6.
Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever.
Let's enjoy the incredible faithfulness of God the ONLY trusted Promise Keeper as we continually agree in one accord, praying for one another. By the grace of God I pray for you daily; please remember to do the same for me and my ministry.
Enjoy a marvelous day in God's awesome presence.
