Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! Philippians 3:1a NIV
OK, I admit it. I could certainly use more time in rejoicing in the Lord, in giving praise to His name. Don’t get me wrong. I do spend time rejoicing, but, I know I could do it more often than I currently do. I bet I am not the only one who feels this way.
We are fashioned by our God, created in His image. We were made to worship and adore Him, to give Him praise and thanks for all He does for us. Yet, we at times tend to forget, to get caught up in our day-to-day events of life. But, God is always with us. He never forgets about us. His love is enduring and unchanging. It is an unmovable rock. It is steadfast.
Without God, we truly would have no real life in us. Our destiny would be doom. We would never have true happiness.
Take time out of your day to rejoice in the Lord. Worship Him and give Him praise and thanks. Then, see how you feel afterward. I would venture to say that you will be feeling better, more energized.
