Poetry
My Lord overturned the power of death
Rose on His own on the third day.
What more could I have asked for?
My Lord opened the gates of Heaven
To admit those who would rise with Him.
What more could I have asked for?
The Risen Lord still walks with me
He makes every step easy for me
What more could I have asked for?
The Risen Lord looks at me
Through the veil of the divine host
What more could I have asked for?
The Risen Lord left His Spirit within me
I too can perform the feats that He did
What more could I have asked for?
The Risen Lord instructs me each day
To put things right as I go my way
What more could I have asked for?
The Risen Lord gives me a taste
Of Eternal Life waiting in line someday
What more could I have asked for?
The Risen Lord joins my hand
Into the hand of one who will love me as He does
What more could I have asked for?
The Risen Lord resurrects my own feelings for Him
Come Not just Easter every year
But each single moment of my life
What more could I have asked for?
He has given me everything for all times.
"A Lovely Easter Season."
