Matthew 20: 29-34
The blind men called out to Jesus even louder when they were being screamed at and cautioned to stop. But they screamed even louder. Don’t be discouraged by what people say or ask you to do, when you know your breakthrough is near. You have got to scream, push through however difficult it might be. You don’t allow yourself to be discouraged. Though they could not see because they were blind, they could hear. And by that their served as their ears served as their eyes. They had probably heard people talk about Jesus as the Messiah and as someone who was not only able to heal the sick and do amazing miracles but this Jesus was actually making it happen for a lot of people in their city. And therefore, with that knowledge and understanding, they would not let Jesus just pass by when they could receive their miracle. There are times when our ears become our eyes. When we are blinded by some many things that we are unable to see what God is able to do in our lives, it takes hearing what other people have experienced with the Almighty God to be able to come to that realisation and yearn for what the Lord has been able to do for them and so much more. And when we get hold of such information, we should not make it a trivial one. We have to pursue it with all our might. Based on this understanding, we should also be willing to speak about our relationship to God and HIS work in our lives with the people around us whether saved or not. Because our words and testimonies are eyes to another through which they can see.
Now that being said, when we are in need we have to learn to call on God. Running around to look for the solution elsewhere may not be the solution. And when everything is pointing you away from the direction of God, practically screaming out to you how wrong that move towards God is, you know that has got to be the solution. Call out to HIM and tell HIM what your problem is and I can promise you this, that HE hears you and will listen to you. In the midst of all the chaos, HE is able to hear your voice and understand your need and come to your aid. Imagine this, Jesus is on HIS way to into the city and has people all around HIM talking and screaming, yet HE was able to hear the call of the blind men and HE stopped and called out to them asking them what they wanted HIM to do for them. Upon asking, they received because Jesus had compassion on them. HE loves you more than you think HE does and with HIS compassion comes the greatest forms of healing, deliverance, provision and restoration. What ever the situation maybe I urge you to call on Him and HE will come to your aid. Call out to HIM amid everything that is holding you back, it is time to experience HIS handiwork in your life.
Jesus teaches us something, in the midst of all the chaos surrounding HIM, HE was still able to come to the aid of another. There are times when our own needs and problems could our minds and therefore we are not able to hear people calling out to us for help or even notice people around us who are in need. As difficult as those times are, worrying less by laying everything down at the alter opens the door for God to release HIS peace and comfort into our lives. And with that we are able to notice the people around us as we receive promptings and guidance from the Holy Spirit in the ways we should act and who we need to help.
May the Lord God Almighty meet your need today in Jesus name. Amen.
And may HE makes us into the person HE created us to be as HE guides us to walk in HIS righteousness.
God bless you
