So I have not been writing here as much as I want to. I have been trying to get everything in order in my life that I forgot for a moment what God has commanded me to do. All that I share in this segment is what God puts in my heart, therefore am always doing God’s work. Many are the times that we get so caught up in life hustles that we forget to do what God clearly ordered us to.
I found that in the entire week that I failed to write, I also didn’t read the Bible as much. I was not going to write anything out of my own understanding, therefore I put it on hold until I can go back to seeking God and asking Him what He desires to say through me.People die and that becomes the end of life, jobs are taken away and that begins the unemployment season. In short, all the things that may take away our time for God can end, but He doesn’t change.
You know what, what God commands you to do may not make sense at all, but obey regardless. Out of your busy schedule, make time and serve with a purpose, God’s purpose. If He has called you to preach, share the word with a colleague or two. If your purpose is to help the poor do it, one hour is more than enough to feed, talk to or even encourage a broken heart.
Let’s make time for our calling, because He who calls us graces us for it.
