Are you living under a curse? Did your Dad tell you that you were no good? Were you put down in high school or teased on the playground? Those are curses. These curses get reinforced every time somebody insults you or you get passed up for promotion.
Iíve got some good news for all of you who have defined their lives from all the put-downs, insults, and snubs.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
YAHOO!!!! You are a Child of God, a member of Godís family! To quote Martin Luther King, FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, WEíRE FREE AT LAST.
The moment you accept Christ, you are free from your Dadís curse, the ďSitting alone in the high school cafeteriaĒ curse, the bully in the playground curse. Most of all you are free from the curse of eternal death.
I learned this lesson late in life. Iíve prayed to God and asked forgiveness for all the thoughtless and cruel things I said in anger to strangers, friends, family, and especially my children. I asked to remove all the evil I spoke about people and to bless all of them.
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
To do that, you must forgive those who trespass against you. And thatís hard. I had a boss that I would have seriously hurt at one time if I ever ran into him again. My old boss fell into the ďthem which despitefully use youĒ part of the scripture. But I had to forgive him too. Just like Jesus forgave me.
But I want to hold on to my hate! You donít know what he/she has done to me? Itís hard, believe me I know itís hard. Remember that you are not forgiving them for their sakes; you are forgiving them for YOUR sake. Realize that you are a new creature in Christ and move forward. Leave those who have hurt you in Godís hands. Why have all that bitterness chained around your neck?

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Always remember that you are blessed and not cursed.
