That express your regard for life's affair --

What lies behind your soul's door --
If I tell you that Jesus is my everything
Will you tell me who turns your winter
To the consistent ebbing spring --
If I tell you how I stay connected
To my Heavenly Father who sits above
Will you tell me who is your source
Who directs your path to love --
If I tell you what only I can know
Would you treat my offering
With tender respect and kind regard
Like God perfects every flake of snow --
If I tell you my desire for permanence
Where eternity's sun does shine
Would you gently protect your treasure
Along with mine until
Until there is no earthly time --
One day when to heaven's gate I go
Would you lift your praise with mine
In the hope that God too will know --
If I tell you that for me life
Is a vapor that one day
Will lift into the blue
Would you share with me
