America’s laws used to be based on God’s laws as in Ex: 21. But now they are interpreting the law and the consequences as if all were already redeemed. But the law is for the lawless. 1Tim: 1:9 The law is designed to forbid injustice. It was written to deter crime by having a severe consequence for the breaking of it.
The law is of none effect if the offender’s rights are more important than the victim’s rights. The law is for the lawless. Grace is for those who repent and seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
The New Testament is Jesus’ Righteousness. We are to have it, we are to put it on, we are to walk in it. We can only live in it by Jesus’ Spirit. It is a spiritual matter not a legal matter. The Old Testament is law, the New Testament is Spirit.
The New Testament is the image of Jesus and the true church. It’s that important. We will be created into the fullness of Christ as we receive Christ’s Spirit through His Word by faith that He can do it in us.
I do not know how a person can ask me “How do you know so and so is not saved? We cannot say.” I say when you look and look for the evidence of Christian growth and everything goes on with them as before that it is a sin to say they are saved.
There is a very noticeable difference between true Christians and the world. It is true that one must be kind, charitable, and discerning about saying a person is not saved, but if no evidence is manifest then it is biblical to say, “Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be hewn down.” It is biblical to say, “The way is straight and narrow that leads to life.” It is biblical to say, “He that would save his life must lose it.” It is biblical to say, “Whosoever confesses Jesus, Jesus will confess them before the angels and whosoever is ashamed of Jesus’ Words, Jesus will ashamed of him.” It is biblical to say you must believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that that means submitting to Him as King and Lord as well as receiving His sacrifice on their behalf.”
It is unbiblical for me to say, “Even though we have been given many evidences of who is saved that I cannot tell who is saved. God help the world if we cannot tell the saved from the unsaved.
Some would ask, “Don’t you believe Jn: 3:16?” I say, “Yes I do. Do you believe 1Jn: 3:9-10? Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10: In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
To be created in His image means that He created us capable of functioning as He does--in unselfish all caring love, having feelings, a will of our own, and the ability to make intelligent choices. He created Adam in His image and then He breathed the breathe of life into him.
