Thanksgiving Poem
Turkey and dressing
Sweet potato pie
Wipe a teardrop from my eye
All these sweets and pickled beets
And already I can’t see my feets
Mashed potatoes and green beans
Someone went and shrunk my jeans
Honey and butter on my bread
Another bite, now my face is red
Second helpings around again
Have some more of this Cornish hen
Thank you Lord for all of that
But help me not to get so fat!
