The Painted Sky
Do you ever wonder who paints the sky? I do, and I wrote some thoughts that came to me...May you be blessed by my simple words...
I wonder who painted the sky --
I wonder who took the brush in hand
And made swirls across the universe
To spread the deepest blue
And limitless puffs of white air --
I wonder who cared enough
To use an eternal canvas
In multi-colors and perfect strokes
His infinite love to share...
No price He places
On the everyday gift
He divinely brushes for you and me
As a sample of His beauty
Of our future home eternity...
So when you look above
And view the never-ending sky
With blue and white
And sometimes gray
Keep in mind that it is only a sample
Of the eternal painting
We will view on that eternal day...
Remember who painted the sky
And shares His painting free of charge
As He designs the changing forms
We are blessed to see on a sunny morn
And to absord on a softened eve
As a perfect reminder of His love
For you and for me...©
