I wonder who painted the sky -- I wonder who took the brush in hand And made swirls across the universe To spread the deepest blue And limitless puffs of white air -- I wonder who cared enough To use an eternal canvas In multi-colors and perfect strokes His infinite love to share... No price He places On the everyday gift He divinely brushes for you and me As a sample of His beauty Of our future home eternity... So when you look above And view the never-ending sky With blue and white And sometimes gray Keep in mind that it is only a sample Of the eternal painting We will view on that eternal day...
