A whisper may only be heard by holy ears --
A whisper may express a desire
Which resounds with drops of human tears --
A whisper may be a louder voice
To be heard by Our Heavenly Father
When we seek His blessing upon our choice --
A whisper may be the only way
God can hear our earnest plea
For to speak above a whisper
May detract from God's attention
For you and for me --
A whisper may be like the sound
of the whispy sea
Which soars above the frothy foam
Yet floats between this massive ball
And God's eternal home --
Ultimately when you whisper a prayer
Just remember that God listens
For our desire in muted tone
And answers with divinity alone --
Whisper gently and express your prayer
Then listen in silence
For God's answer will arrive
As a soulful whisper
And once again will confirm
How much God does care...©
