Mediumship Is Not Evil

Many people ask, and I myself used to ponder this question so much; “is mediumship evil”?

According to the doctrines of many religious groups, mediumship is considered evil. However, according to Jesus, mediumship is not evil.

*** Leviticus 19:31 ESV - “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God. ***

Here is where the confusion I believe begins, in the wording.

Notice Jesus says; “do not turn to mediums”, Jesus did NOT say; within ourselves were we not to engage in mediumship activity. A “medium” is any tool in which any-thing is able to pass through, the same is applicable for us to hear the word of God.

The time Jesus spent on the earth in amongst us, never do we read of Jesus having “physical” contact with God, the Father. No, we read the account of Jesus life spent mostly in prayer and communion with God. The accounts of Jesus life clearly speak of his “personal mediumship” (communion or communicating), with God from a “non-physical” (metaphysical), plane. This extra-dimension is found deep within the purity of the heart that provides a direct “channel” thus enabling us to “communicate with God directly.

Jesus refers in every instance to God as – “the Spirit of the Father, God”. Never had Jesus, nor anyone else ever said; “I saw, spoke and touched God today in the flesh (physical form),”.

Jesus had all-ways taught that God is the Spirit that “lives within” us all. Jesus also said – “we can all be like Him, and do works as he has and even greater in His name”.

I feel it is a tragic event for humanity that religious leaders have managed to convince the multitudes that “communicating” with God, (mediumship) is evil. I believe this has been the birth place of many a person falling victim to evil and not knowing one spirit from another due to a severe lack of education. For example; a person is being spiritually attacked by evil, the Holy Spirit raises within the flesh so “two” speak from within so we can “hear” (here) the “voice” of God through a “channel”, ourselves. You could say that – “God lends our human flesh for His “channel” of delivering His Words that are “current” for us today, when we need them.

How many times would you have heard yourself, a friend or loved one say something very “odd” or “out-of-character” and then see the expression of pure bewilderment! Sadly, many ignore these “events” for as long as possible. One can only ignore God for so long before a profound cry is heard, and for many, a cry from within is a rather terrifying experience. Suddenly, or so it seems, a person begins to hear “voices” in their head, and strange words from their mouth. Most people run to either a doctor or psychiatrist, some even run to religious leaders for help.

Some will be blessed enough to find a modern-day religious leader, counsellor or psychiatrist that understands totally the concept of “personal mediumship” with the Spirit of God so “two” speak from within the flesh for the purpose of healing. These people will not be told they are “abnormal” or evil, rather; they will be offered education in the nature of Spirit of God. They will come to understand they are “normal” and simply engaged in a Spiritual Event (SE), for their own benefit to be well all-ways.

However, sadly; others will fall victim to misleading and ill-informed modern-day religious leaders, counsellors or psychiatrists that refuse to accept Jesus teachings on “how” we communicate with the Spirit of God that “lives within” the body (flesh) of the human form. These people will be told they have some sort-of “mental illness” or they are “evil” and worst of all, they will believe them, and the Holy Spirit is left without a “voice” so “two” speak with God directly from within the human soul for the purpose of warning and/or healing the mind, body and spirit and maintain the union or connection of all that makes a person “complete” and well all-ways.

In conclusion – Definitely, we are NOT to seek mediumship through another. But this is not to say, we ourselves, at a personal and individual level are not to engage in mediumship activity for the purpose of communicating with God directly so “two” speak from within and The Word (God’s Word), be-comes flesh.

It is through faith in Jesus, God’s Son, His (Jesus) teachings we are “made well” all-ways whilst the Spirit of God lives within and is “allowed” (and aloud), a voice form within so “two” speak with us directly.

When “channelling” God’s Word all ways remember to – “test each Spirit”.

1 John 4:1 NIV - Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Essentially, no Spirit of God will speak a word against Him and will profess the faith and belief in Jesus, the Son of God.

This is one of the most important reasons the Bible, or Instruction For Life (IFL), was written. It is primarily a book or text-book that gives instructions on how to live well and test each Spirit to ensure unity and union with God is fore-ever pre-sent within each one of us.
