Do you ever wonder what God has planned for your life, as a born again spirit filled "Child of God". This feeling is only natural. For we all have wondered, from time to time, in our Christian experiences.
We often hear that God has a plan for our life but exactly what does the scripture say about it? The following verse is sometimes offered as an answer.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Yes, God does have a specific plan for each of us. To understand God’s specific plan for our lives, we need only to search the scriptures. And, while searching pray that God will l provide you with a message from His word.
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
One need not look very far, within the scriptures, to discover God is still in charge. You see, God has sent His Holy Spirit to be your comforter to live inside you and help you find your way, according to God's plan for your life.
Remember, if God feeds the birds of the field, how much more will He care for you.
"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” (Luke 12:6-7)
You see, God is waiting for you to come to Him by excepting His free grace by your faith in the finished work of the cross. And, as a believer, God has given you His special gift.
“For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.” (Romans 12:3-8)
Amen and Amen !
