Divinely gifted and appointed,
This little one so small,
Before taking his first breath,
His a call to destiny.
He carries within his small frame
A uniqueness of character and personality
Different from all others,
A purpose only he can fulfill.
No wonder he battles for life,
Many unite against him
To stop this divinely appointed life
Before he even makes his appearance.
He could be another Billy Graham,
A Washington, a Lincoln,
A man who simply walks with God
Building a family of faith.
Whether his life touches one or millions,
God has a purpose for him that must come to fruition,
God's gift to the world,
Ten little fingers and ten tiny toes.
"For you have formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." Psalm 139:13-16 ESV
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you..." Jeremiah 1:5a ESV
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10 ESV
