Another year together today
Your future still open wide
There is no problem you can’t overcome
When you’re walking side by side
There are many happy blessings
That God will give you everyday
If you put your hands in His
And live your lives His way
There will be storms along the road
You know there always will
But only Christ the saviour
Can tell them “Peace be still”
No hurricane can overturn your life
No matter how threatening it may seem
With your anchor fastened in His Love
And your compass set on Him
As we look back along our lives
We see the storms of old
They’ve strengthened us and helped us
A better life to mould
So do not fear what is to be
For no matter what may come
Behind every darkening storm cloud
There shines a brilliant Son!
So look ahead with excitement
As you live together as one
Let God take care of sailing your ship
Your journey is already won!
