Everyday becomes a struggle,
when from God's Word we stray.
Every hour is more miserable,
when we don't believe and pray.
Everything looks impossible,
when His hope is not there.
Every problem looks bleaker,
when we don't trust in His care.
Every worry seems unbearable,
when His mercy we don't claim.
Every concern is more insufferable,
when we don't call upon His name.
Every mountain seems higher,
when we climb it all alone.
Every valley is a little deeper,
when we don't seek His throne.
Everyone who goes about,
seeking to do their own will.
Will never know the kind of peace,
that only God can instill!
